Merry Christmas to my readers!
I love to celebrate Jesus' birth, and I'm glad we can set aside time for it.
Last night I caroled with my siblings. We have been preparing some music to sing for a few weeks. I got some excellent gifts, including a guide to computer careers, which I look forward to reading.
In other news, I am studying for my drivers permit test this Thursday. I've been waiting to take it since June.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I'm gonna take my learner's permit "knowledge test" as soon as my birth certificate comes in. I'm so excited!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you, too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to both of you on the permits! What computer career are you looking into? Do any of your siblings play instruments?
ReplyDeleteAll I know is that I'm interested in a computer career. I'm not sure which one specifically, since there are a lot of options. That's my Dad bought the book. Two options I like are software design and computer training (though they are both miles apart).
ReplyDeleteAnd, yeah, three of my siblings play instruments. I play the trumpet. What about you?
I play guitar. Someday I'd like to learn banjo and mandolin as well. Maybe a bit to ambitious. And besides, it's hard to play bluegrass hymns with all three instruments and only two hands.
ReplyDelete:)
I love computers! I'd like to get a job at the Department of Defense in Network security, or home computer repair. I like to know a bit of everything. I've done some software design, but that is an advanced hobby for me. Of course, I love web design and have done some of that already. I'm always open to what the Lord would like me to do, and I do not want my ambitions to become the most important thing. A knowledge of computers is helpful anywhere, even if I become a missionary or minister instead of a computer technician. Thursday I take my A+ examination for computers. BTW, I have not forgotten about sending you my "great literary works" (that was slightly sarcastic) - I've just been busy. Maybe after Dec. 29th.
