So, I'm planning on starting a tech blog that caters to users of the three major operating systems. I have a friend who will be the Mac writer, myself (the PC writer), and I don't have a Linux writer yet (comment if you're interested).
So, I made a logo to unify the three operating systems. Drawn in pencil, edited in Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.0

Well, I can't say I know enough about Linux to be a columnist, but Nick probably could. Good logo!
ReplyDeleteNoogah, this is great! My blog (http://cowboycomputers.TK) is supposed to accomplish this same thing. I have a small following, and if you'd like I'd love to take you on as a PC writer, your friend as a Mac writer, and the Adventurous Fellow as a HTML / CSS writer. I will continue with Linux and VB, and Nate (defenestrator) will continue with Python. I would consider adopting your logo, and I would make you, your friend, and adventurous fellow admins. Please email me at cowboy.nick.a[at]gmail[dot]com if you would be interested. This would be a great opportunity to present a well-rounded tech blog to the public.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea very much! I'd love to be a part of your blog. There are a few things we would need to talk about though, so I'll definitely email you. I agree that this is an excellent opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI think that is an awesome logo! Would you consider changing your profile selections in the comment section below to include Name and URLs? Thanks!
ReplyDelete@Amanda Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would like to help, but I don't quite understand your request. Could you please explain again what it is you would like me to do?
I think she'd like you to allow anonymous responses. I received your email and will reply later today.
ReplyDeleteOh, okay. I enabled anonymous responses.
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely do that for you Nick. I think writing a HTML/CSS column for you is a brilliant idea! :-)
ReplyDeleteNoogah, mom wanted you to have a regular comment form. I don't know if Blogger has that, though.
